Ivorian and African artists were called on Saturday to engage in the fight against illegal migration of young people. During a press briefing on the sidelines of the Abidjan-Anoumabo Urban Music Festival (FEMUA) in Abidjan, its Commissioner General Salif Traoré mentioned the need for every artist on the continent to be an ambassador for the fight against irregular migration through permanent actions.

"Everyone should mention this issue or say something in his or her concerts, interviews and tours," he said. "The fight must continue and must be ongoing, and we must continue until the scourge will be eradicated," Traoré insisted.
