Irregular migration continues and more than 600 migrants have arrived in Ceuta in a month and a half

The Spanish Ministry of the Interior issued data on the entry of immigrants to Spain, registering 629 by land and 7 by sea to the city of Ceuta during the last 6 weeks of the current year.

According to Spanish media, there has been a decrease in the number of people who arrived by land estimated at 235 people, or 27.2% less than the same period of 2018.

In addition, a decline has been recorded in the number of people who arrived in the city by sea: less 94% compared with last year.

The sources added that the data issued by the Spanish Ministry of Interior, indicates that in early February, a total of 191 people entered irregularly the country by land .

As for the sea corridor, the same report says that no more migrants arrived, only 7 of them arrived in Melilla via a rubber boat during the month of January.
