Migrants: IOM, 633 people returned to Libya from 27 November to 3 December

A total of 633 migrants were rescued off the coast of Libya and brought back to shore from 27 November to 3 December. This was announced by the Libyan office of the International Organization for Migration (oim) via Twitter. Since the beginning of 2022, a total of 21.457 migrants have been rescued and returned to Libya, including 1.089 women and 678 children. The organization said that since the beginning of the year 517 people have died and another 830 are missing off the Libyan coast along the central Mediterranean route. As of 2021, a total of 32.425 migrants had been rescued at sea and returned to Libya.
