Reactivity. Earlier this month, Morocco issued a list of requests to Spain for Moroccan students. In return, the kingdom would intensify border control to manage the flow of migrants to the first gateway to Europe. The kingdom has received a positive response from the neighboring country, which has just announced the establishment of a project "pioneering" mobility for students from Morocco to Spanish universities, reports the Efe news agency.

Morocco has proposed a program allowing its university students to study in Spain on the model of the Erasmus program. The European country will respond favorably to this request, thanks to European funds. "The pilot program between Spain and Morocco will last for a maximum of two years.

It will support about 80 Moroccan students who will study their master's degree in Spanish universities and will benefit from a funding of about 2.5 million euros," said Martínez Iscar, director of the Spanish Service for the Internationalization of Education (Sepie), to Efe on the occasion of the creation of the future network of European universities. The launch date of the program and the list of partner universities have not yet been announced.
