TUNISIA BECOMES A TRANSIT COUNTRY FOR MIGRANTS

Interview - Migrants are back in Tunisia. More and more of them are moving through Maghreb to Europe. Tunisians, according to IOM, but also Ivorians and especially migrants managed to flee Libya, said the Archbishop of Tunis, Ilario Antoniazzi.
According to the International Organization for Migration, the number of illegal departures of Tunisians has increased significantly since the summer. 1,400 Tunisians arrived in Lampedusa in September against 1,200 in Italy in 2016.
